Welcome! Let’s cut to the chase … We’re moms and we don’t like bullcrap. “To Be Perfectly Honest” is dedicated to providing product reviews…honest ones. As moms, bloggers and blog readers, we have seen thousands and thousands of product reviews. Most of which have been so obviously sugar coated that they could easily rot teeth and send the reader into a state of diabetic shock. While we understand that the services and products being reviewed by most bloggers were likely GIVEN to the blogger for free (and sometimes extras to give away), its so blatantly obvious that some bloggers are simply being “bribed” into saying wonderful things about a company or product just because they were given some free crap. This leads us to find most reviews out there in the world of blogging to be only somewhat believable.
Was the product cool? Sure, but what about the rest of the experience? What about the actual ordering process? What about delivery? What about packaging? How was the customer service? What about communication? Was the product or service worth the price tag? Just because a company gives you some free stuff, doesn’t mean you MUST rave and carry on about how wonderful they are. If its awesome, we’re going to tell you it’s awesome. If it sucks, we’re going to tell you it sucks. If a company gave us extra to give away, then we’ll give it away regardless of what we thought … but don’t say we didn’t warn you.
I suppose you could say this site is more than just a product review site. It’s a company review. A shopping experience review. A customer service review. I’ve never been one to keep my opinions to myself. So, I’m gonna tell it to you the way it is. To be perfectly honest…
